There's no place like home for the Central Blue Devils, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They managed a 38-34 win over Livingston on Thursday.
Central got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Crishawn Gamble out in front who scored eight points. Another player making a difference was Armon Mancebo, who scored four points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Central's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Livingston, they dropped their record down to 8-10 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central will take on Payne Tech at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Payne Tech presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Central in New Jersey (Payne Tech is ranked 46th, while Central is ranked 212th). As for Livingston, they will head out on the road to face off against Nutley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
