While it was all tied up 25-25 at halftime, the Legend Titans were not quite the Windsor Wizards's equal in the second half on Thursday. Legend suffered a tough 68-47 loss at the hands of Windsor. Legend has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Legend lost, one person who can't be blamed is Seth Whitehead. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 21 points and 1 assists. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Flowers, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Legend's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Windsor, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
Legend and Cherokee Trail will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Cherokee Trail is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. Windsor will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Eaglecrest at 2:00 p.m. on January 6th. Eaglecrest is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
