Perquimans had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 60-48 win over the Columbia Wildcats on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won seven in a row.

This is the second loss in a row for Columbia and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
