The Thunder Ridge Titans lost against the Highland Rams back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Thunder Ridge fell 29-21 to Highland. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Thunder Ridge in their matchups with Highland: they've now lost six in a row.
Thunder Ridge's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kody Robinson, who picked up 182 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and Ryder Portmann who threw for 330 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.9% of his passes.
Highland had a senior duo take command as Rhidge Barela rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries and Jackson Riddle picked up 107 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Barela was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 59 yards.
Thunder Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Highland, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.
Thunder Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Highland will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Owyhee at 8:15 p.m. on November 3rd. Owyhee is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
