On Saturday, Litchfield suffered a rough 60-40 defeat at the hands of Pleasant Plains.
Despite the loss, Litchfield still got an impressive performance from Victor Mcgill, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aj Odle, who scored nine points.
Litchfield's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Pleasant Plains, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Litchfield will square off against East Alton-Wood River at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Alton-Wood River is out to stop a seven-game streak of losses at home. Pleasant Plains will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Maroa-Forsyth at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th.
