Thrasher is a perfect 8-0 against Tremont since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Rebels will host the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Potts Camp hit Thrasher with a seven-run sixth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rebels came up short against the Cardinals, falling 15-3.

Ryan Tate put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off two hits. That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed since back in March of 2025. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.
In other batting news, Casen Hester made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Tremont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 7-4 to Potts Camp.
Like Thrasher, Tremont also got a great game from a two-way player: Cooper Platt. On the mound, he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Platt was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Platt wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Yielding, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
Thrasher was able to grind out a solid win over Tremont in their previous matchup back in March of 2025, winning 13-8. Do the Rebels have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
