After only one run in their last match, Burns made sure to put some runs up on the board against Trinity on Wednesday. Burns was the clear victor by a 14-1 margin over Trinity. The result was nothing new for Burns, who have now won 13 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Burns has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Trinity, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-5.

Burns wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-1 victory against Shelby on the 22nd. As for Trinity, they have also already played their next contest, a 10-0 defeat against Randleman on the 22nd.
