West Jefferson is 10-0 against Triad since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The West Jefferson Roughriders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Triad Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. Triad took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on West Jefferson, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, West Jefferson earned a 43-36 win over Madison Plains. The victory was just what West Jefferson needed coming off of a 48-28 loss in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Triad lost to Fairbanks at home by a decisive 49-30 margin on Wednesday.
West Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Triad, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
Everything went West Jefferson's way against Triad when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as West Jefferson made off with a 56-35 win. Will West Jefferson repeat their success, or does Triad have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
