Make it 11 blowout wins for the Sundown Roughnecks this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Seagraves 82-31 at home. The victory was just what Sundown needed coming off of a 54-31 loss in their prior contest.
Sundown was led to victory by Aria Hogan and Allie McCormick. Hogan scored 18 points along with five steals and three blocks, while McCormick dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten assists. Hogan hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Hannah Holdman was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Sundown's win bumped their record up to 16-14. As for Seagraves, they are on a 18-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-21.
Sundown will head out on the road to face off against the Bulldogs at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Seagraves does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
