Last Saturday, Norborne had to suffer through a rough 62-35 loss at the hands of Southwest. Norborne has struggled against Southwest recently, as their contest last Saturday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Norborne had strong showings from Kottin McClure, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals, and Thad Hopkins, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 60-28, which was the final score in Tina-Avalon's tilt against Braymer on Tuesday.
Norborne's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-16. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.3 points per game. As for Tina-Avalon, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
Norborne and Tina-Avalon were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, but Norborne came up empty-handed after a 34-33 defeat. Can Norborne avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
