The Prairie Farm Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their ninth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 90-61 loss at the hands of Winter. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Gunnar Greuel continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Winter, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 28 rebounds. Greuel is crushing the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Curtis Thompson was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with four steals.
Prairie Farm dropped their record down to 1-15 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road. As for Winter, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-6.
Prairie Farm didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 69-55 loss vs. New Auburn on the 6th. Winter has also already played their next matchup, a 85-71 win against Flambeau on the 6th.
