Tarboro has not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Perquimans, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-3.
Tarboro took a serious blow against Perquimans in their previous meeting back in January, falling 63-16. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Perquimans' Lailana Marie Harris, who scored 26 points along with six steals.
