The Boyd Yellowjackets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 11th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 67-22 loss at the hands of Paradise. Boyd has not had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Paradise to victory, but perhaps none more so than Channing Beauvais, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Beauvais hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Brooklyn Force was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Boyd has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 14 of their last 15 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season. As for Paradise, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 26-7.
Boyd does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Paradise will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Valley View will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1176th, while the Panthers are ranked 288th).
