The Tahoma Bears will face off against the Rogers Rams at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Tahoma is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand West Valley a 7-0 shutout.
Not much got past Alexa Ramirez, who gave up just two hits and racked up ten Ks to keep West Valley off the board. Ramirez has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Kalea Yelle was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mia Hammington, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Rogers faced North Creek in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Rams blew past the Jaguars 6-0.
Sierra Murray (2028) was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. Murray (2028) was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Payton Walling (2027), who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Aubree Pollard (2027) was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Rogers pushed their record up to 19-5 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Tahoma, their victory bumped their record up to 20-3-1.
Both Tahoma and Rogers just can't seem to miss. The Bears have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 12.5 hits per game. However, it's not like Rogers struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Tahoma came up short against Rogers in their previous meeting back in March of 2025, falling 6-2. Can the Bears avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
