Jennings's game  last Saturday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Monday. Everything went their way against the Lake Charles College Prep Trailblazers as Jennings made off with  a  22-1 victory. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by ten  runs or more this season.
 Jenna Morvant made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing three innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  RBI and one  double. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in March of 2024.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Kylie Price, who  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most  stolen bases  she has posted since back in April of 2024.  Madeleine Person was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Jennings has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record  this season. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 16.8 runs over those games. Lake Charles College Prep dropped their record down to 0-8 with the  defeat, which was their fourth straight  on the road.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Jennings will  take on  rival South Beauregard  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lake Charles College Prep is set to  face off against  their familiar foe St. Louis Catholic  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
