Make it 13 blowout wins for the Pomeroy Pirates this season. They blew past St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse 65-39. Pomeroy pushed the score to 51-27 by the end of the third, a deficit the had little chance of recovering from.
Oliver Severs was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Braxton McKeirnan, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
The win was the third in a row for Pomeroy, bringing their record for this year to 15-3. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31.7 points. As for St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
Pomeroy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Knights at 5:30 p.m. on February 3rd. Sunnyside Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 192 points over their last three matches. St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
