Twin Peaks Charter Academy found their leader in underclassman Matthew Wurth, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. It was the first time this season that Wurth scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Jaiden Specht, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Twin Peaks Charter Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Calhan, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
Twin Peaks Charter Academy will head out on the road to square off against the Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Vanguard Classical East comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Calhan, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th. Miami-Yoder will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
