New Plymouth is a perfect 5-0 against Vision since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. New Plymouth will face off against Vision at 5:30 p.m. New Plymouth is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.2 runs per game this season.

New Plymouth is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Payette just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates. Pilgrims fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Pirates since on Friday.

Cooper Shaw made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Vision was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 13-1 to Troy. The game marked Vision's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 5-3. As for Vision, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. New Plymouth has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Vision struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 13.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Everything went New Plymouth's way against Vision when the teams last played back in May of 2022, as New Plymouth made off with a 16-0 win. Does New Plymouth have another victory up their sleeve, or will Vision turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
