Copley found their leader in freshman Jayli Owens, who had 20 digs and two assists. Owens is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.
West Geauga's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Copley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.
Coincidentally, West Geauga and Copley will both be playing Perry the next time they take the court. The Wolverines will host the Pirates at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
