Missourinet.com, The 5-foot-10, 210-pound Smith broke the 2007 mark of 533 set by Rayon Simmons of CBC. He is the No. 11 player in the state, according to
247Sports.com, and has offers from Iowa, Missouri, Ole Miss, Wisconsin and Illinois, among others.

Chance Nevarez booted 11 extra points in a 77-16 win over Fort Worth South Hills to become the Texas all-time leader for consecutive PATs. He broke the old record of 114 by China Springs' James French, according to Dave Campbell's Texas Football magazine. Aledo scored on all 11 of its possessions, according to the
Star-Telegram, and finished with 712 yards.

Kimu Kim set an Ohio state record by rushing for nine touchdowns in a 70-62 double-overtime win over Niles. According to
vindy.com, Kim rushed 52 times for 497 yards, which overshadowed the effort of Niles quarterback Kyle Paden, who passed for 505 yards and six touchdowns, both school records.

Devin Hayes tied a Kentucky record by throwing eight touchdown passes in the first half of a 91-10 win over Logan County. He finished one shy of the state record for a game of nine. According to
bgdailynews.com, Bowling Green won its 36th straight game and scored a school-record with 91 points. Hayes finished 12 of 16 for 282 yards.
