Tonawanda lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Cleveland Hill, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's matchup. The Timberwolves' pitchers stepped up to hand the Golden Eagles a 6-0 shutout on Friday. The Timberwolves not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 22, 2024 (when they won 14-1).

Tonawanda moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Cleveland Hill, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-6.

Coincidentally, Tonawanda and Cleveland Hill will both be playing Holland the next time they take the field. The Golden Eagles will host the Dutchmen at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Timberwolves will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
