The Bishop Moore Hornets won the last time they faced the Cocoa Tigers, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Bishop Moore walked away with a 58-45 win over Cocoa.
It was another big night for Cameron Codio, who scored 27 points along with 8 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Bishop Moore's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Suarez, who scored 12 points.
Bishop Moore's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Cocoa, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Moore will take on Central Florida Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Central Florida Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five last Friday. As for Cocoa, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Palm Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
