Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Becca Gerdt stepped things up a notch to give Valparaiso the 'W'. Gerdt did her part (and then some), scoring 16 points along with nine rebounds and seven assists in the 61-34 win.
Gerdt and Valparaiso will be playing in front of their home fans against Morgan Township at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will pit Gerdt up against Morgan Township's star point guard Josie Lemmons. Will Gerdt turn in another gem to overcome Valparaiso? We'll have our answer very soon.
