Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Memphis Home Education Association

Memphis Home Education Association had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 64-55 victory over the Evangelical Christian Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Memphis Home Education Association also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Memphis Home Education Association to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caleb Mathis, who posted 21 points. The dominant performance gave Mathis a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Elijah Guess, who put up 14 points.

Memphis Home Education Association's record now sits at 18-2. As for Evangelical Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.

Memphis Home Education Association has already played their next matchup, a 60-54 loss against Houston on the 9th. As for Evangelical Christian, they will host First Assembly Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 14th.
