After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Harvester Christian Academy, the Notre Dame Academy Irish Wolfhounds were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They managed a 48-42 victory over Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy. That's another feather in the cap for Notre Dame Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Notre Dame Academy can attribute much of their success to Sarah Gruber, who scored 12 points. Faustina Barcena was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
The win got Notre Dame Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Notre Dame Academy will take on St. John Bosco Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy, they will be playing at home against Georgia-Cumberland Academy at 7:40 p.m. on Saturday.
