Meanwhile, Waynesburg Central strolled past Charleroi with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 45-27. Waynesburg Central pushed the score to 42-20 by the end of the third, a deficit Charleroi cut but never quite recovered from.
Breydon Woods had a dynamite game for Waynesburg Central, rushing for 270 yards while picking up 11.3 yards per carry. Ross Tennant was another key contributor, gaining 148 total yards.
Their wins bumped Imani Christian Academy to 7-2 and Waynesburg Central to 7-3.
