After losing to the Ezell-Harding Christian Eagles the last time they met, the Clarksville Academy Cougars decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Clarksville Academy managed a  39-35 victory over Ezell-Harding Christian  on Thursday.
 It was another big night for  Malaya Woullard, who  scored 19 points along with two  steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which  she has scored at least a third of Clarksville Academy's points. Another player making a difference was  Fatu Crain, who  scored two points along with nine  rebounds.
 Clarksville Academy has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season. As for Ezell-Harding Christian, their defeat  ended  a  six-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 14-9.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clarksville Academy won't have much time to rest: their next  matchup is against Nashville Christian at 6:00  p.m.  on January 26th. Nashville Christian is on a six-game streak of home wins, Clarksville Academy a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Ezell-Harding Christian, they will head out on the road to  take on  Friendship Christian at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Friendship Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 296th, while Ezell-Harding Christian is ranked 79th).
