After losing to Stevens the last time they met, Somersworth decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Toppers were the clear victors by a 28-6 margin over the Cardinals on Friday. The Toppers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 22 points or more this season.

Somersworth's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carter Lambert led the charge by rushing for 100 yards and one TD on only seven carries. Amani Muya was another key rusher, rushing for 77 yards and a pair of scores.

The victory made it two in a row for Somersworth and bumps their season record up to 4-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 points in those games. As for Stevens, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

As of now, neither Somersworth nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
