San Juan is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game dating back to last season last Friday. They lost to Mira Loma at home by a 40-26 margin.
Despite the defeat, San Juan got top-tier performance from Aiden Broadnax, who rushed for 245 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.6 yards per carry. Broadnax was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 51 yards.
Even though they lost, San Juan was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 352 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2023.
Meanwhile, while Riverbank put up plenty of points last Saturday, the same can't be said for Burton. Riverbank blew past Burton 54-0 on the road. The high-scoring effort was just what the Bruins needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.
