Starr's Mill's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Harris County Tigers, sneaking past 14-12. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.

Thomas Cochran was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 44 yards and a pair of TDs, and also threw for 101 yards on only eight passes.

Harris County's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jalen Robinson, who picked up 90 receiving yards and one touchdown. Matthew Love handled things on the ground, rushing for 88 yards.

Starr's Mill picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-6. As for Harris County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.
