Volleyball Recap: Monday's Win Is Brimfield's Third in Last Four Outings

Brimfield won the last time they faced Peoria Christian and things went their way on Monday too. The Indians walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Chargers.

The win didn't come easy: Peoria Christian scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18.

Kennedy Teubel paced Brimfield's offense, picking up 14 kills. Teubel got some help from Jovi Chastain and her 18 assists. Jenna Lewis and Anja Nelson kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Brimfield is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Peoria Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-11.

Looking ahead, Brimfield will host Elmwood at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Peoria Christian, they will venture away from home to challenge Illini Bluffs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
