Faith Baptist lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Silas Mosey, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zech Gartrelle, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bethany Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Luca Halalau, who scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was Nathaniel Byers, who scored 17 points.
Faith Baptist now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Bethany Christian, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
Faith Baptist will be playing at home against the Fire at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bethany Christian, they will head out on the road to take on the Defenders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bloomfield Christian School presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the in Michigan (the Defenders are ranked 124th, while the are ranked 281st).
