Last Saturday, Wilburton came up short against the Golden Tigers and fell 51-41. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Wilburton in their matchups with the Golden Tigers: they've now lost nine in a row.
Meanwhile, Savanna took their game at home on Thursday with ease, bagging a 54-17 win over the Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Savanna.
Wilburton dropped their record down to 6-13 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Savanna, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.
Wilburton strolled past the Bulldogs when the teams last played back in February of 2019 by a score of 64-46. Will Wilburton repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
