In what's become a running theme this season, the Community School of Davidson Spartans gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Pine Lake Prep 73-32 at home. The win was familiar territory for Community School of Davidson who now have four in a row.
Leading Community School of Davidson to victory were Regan Downey and Tyler Baughan. Downey scored 23 points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Baughan scored 18 points along with nine steals and eight rebounds. Baughan is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Scarlett Soares was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Community School of Davidson's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Pine Lake Prep, they bumped their record down to 7-7 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Community School of Davidson will be playing in front of their home fans against Mountain Island Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain Island Charter has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests. As for Pine Lake Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Christ the King at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (Christ the King is ranked 285th, while Pine Lake Prep is ranked 296th).
