Rolando Castillo Drops League-Best Effort on Friday
Starting off the list is Frankfort's Rolando Castillo, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Castillo's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards. On Friday, Western Boone got the W thanks in part to Marcus Fortner playing the best football he has all season. Fortner rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the season, Fortner has caught 9 touchdowns while averaging 46.7 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after ten games last season, he had three receiving touchdowns.

Folden Posts Huge Game in 35-32 Win
Jackson Folden was instrumental in extending Lebanon's winning streak to seven on Friday. Folden was dynamite, throwing for 202 yards and four touchdowns on only 16 passes. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played.
Lebanon pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Folden and Lebanon will stay at home for another week and welcome Logansport at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
