The Lake Placid Dragons won the last time they faced the Hardee Wildcats, and things went their way on Monday too. Lake Placid walked away with a 50-43 win over Hardee.
Lake Placid was led to victory by Dj Bullard and Keveun Mason. Bullard scored nine points along with 17 rebounds, while Mason scored ten points along with six rebounds and three steals. Mason hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Aj Felton, who scored four points along with six rebounds.
The win got Lake Placid back to even at 9-9. As for Hardee, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Placid won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Oasis Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Hopefully Oasis Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Monday. As for Hardee, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Lemon Bay at 7:00 p.m.
