Rancho Bernardo faced off against Fallbrook for the first time this season, and Rancho Bernardo walked away the winners. They had just enough and edged Fallbrook out 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Rancho Bernardo also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2021.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Franco Melchor and
Riley McNamara, who scored.
Rancho Bernardo's victory bumped their record up to 4-7-4. As for Fallbrook, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rancho Bernardo will face off against Poway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fallbrook, they will head out on the road to square off against Del Norte at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
