Cardinal Ritter College Prep extended their postseason success on Saturday against Fort Zumwalt North. They beat the Panthers by the very same score they won with last week: 68-14. Meanwhile, Central came tearing into Saturday's match with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.9 points) and they left with even more momentum. They had just enough and edged Eureka out 32-29.
Central got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Keyshawn Boyd out in front who rushed for 208 yards and two touchdowns. Boyd hasn't dropped below two rushing touchdowns for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Zai'aire Thomas, who rushed for 153 yards and a touchdown.
Cardinal Ritter College Prep pushed their record up to 13-0 with that victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.4 points. As for Central, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.
