The DeLand Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Treasure Coast Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a five-game winning streak alive.
DeLand extended their postseason success on Friday against University. They strolled past the Titans with points to spare, taking the game 31-13. DeLand's victory was all the more impressive since University was averaging only 16.5 points allowed on the season.
DeLand's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tyron Moore led the charge by rushing for 178 yards while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, and also throwing for 25 yards and a touchdown while completing 85.7% of his passes. Ladamion Bletcher also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Treasure Coast earned a 21-12 win over Vero Beach on Friday.
George Roberts was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 92 yards and two touchdowns.
DeLand pushed their record up to 10-2 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Treasure Coast, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.
