Charlotte Christian has gone 8-2 against Charlotte Latin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Friday. The Knights will take on the Hawks at 7:00  p.m. Charlotte Christian has given up an average of 25.6  points per game this season, but Friday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Charlotte Christian is headed into the  game having just  suffered their biggest  loss since September 6, 2024 on Friday. They lost  46-20 to Providence Day. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Chargers are ranked second).
Despite a strong season so far, Charlotte Latin has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were three  points away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   24-21 heartbreaker at the hands of Charlotte Country Day School. While the Hawks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Buccaneers  7-3 in the first  quarter.
Charlotte Christian will have to contain  Troy Logan as he made an impact in Charlotte Latin's last game. He rushed for 54 yards and two  touchdowns, and also threw for 165 yards and one  TD. 82 of those passing yards were hauled in by Dylan Muligan.
 While Charlotte Latin came up short, they sure didn't make it easy for Charlotte Country Day School: they limited their QB to completion percentage of just 50%. The team can thank  Dallas Chapman for the heroic effort on defense: he. Charlotte Latin wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 65.4%.
 Charlotte Christian now  has a losing record of 4-5. As for Charlotte Latin, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.
Friday's  matchup will pit two  of the most dominant  backs against one another:  Jamal Rule and  De'Jon Douglas. Rule just won't slow down this season and  has averaged 172.2 rushing yards per game. Douglas has been a dominant force too and  has run in 14 touchdowns while averaging 123.4 rushing yards per game.
 Everything came up roses for Charlotte Christian against Charlotte Latin when the teams last played  back in October of 2024, as the  squad secured  a  44-7 victory. Will the Knights repeat their success,  or do  the Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
