The Spanish Fork Dons will square off against the Park City Miners at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Spanish Fork is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight games on Tuesday. They took a 76-58 bruising from Provo. Dons fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Bulldogs since Tuesday.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Gage Christensen, who posted 24 points. The game was his fourth in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Johnson, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Park City was fully in charge on Monday, breezing past Deseret Peak 81-54.
Spanish Fork better keep an eye on Luke Rice. He was instrumental in Park City's win, dropping a double-double with 30 points and 12 boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which Rice has scored at least a third of the Miners' points. Penn Larkin was another key player, going 7-for-14 en route to 19 points.
Park City smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in November of 2024.
Park City's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1. As for Spanish Fork, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Spanish Fork has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 25.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Park City struggles in that department as they've been averaging 38 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Spanish Fork took their victory against Park City in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 85-64 score. Do the Dons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Miners turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
