Make it 11 blowout wins for the Knox City Greyhounds this season. They were the clear victor by a 62-38 margin over Aspermont. Winning may never get old, but Knox City sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Seth Johnson and Jaxon Hodges certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Johnson scored 14 points, while Hodges scored 12 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Knox City's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Aspermont, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-8.
Knox City will take on Paint Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Paint Creek is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Aspermont, they will head out on the road to square off against Newcastle at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
