The Warren Central Dragons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their tenth straight loss. They fell to Apollo 50-44. Warren Central has not had much luck with Apollo recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Jennifer Lee was her usual excellent self, scoring 28 points along with nine rebounds for Apollo. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lee has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jenna Dant, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Warren Central dropped their record down to 3-13 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Apollo, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-15.
Warren Central will take on Christian County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Christian County will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Apollo, they will be playing in front of their home fans against McLean County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
