The Kendrick Tigers will face off against the Grace Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Kendrick comes in on 15 and Grace on four.
Kendrick is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Notus, posting an 80-6 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 72-0.

Maddox Kirkland
| 11/07/25 vs Notus | 42 |
| 09/26/25 @ Lapwai | 36 |
| 10/10/25 vs Kamiah | 17 |
| 09/05/25 vs Hagerman | 15 |
| 10/24/25 vs Prairie | 10 |
Maddox Kirkland was his usual excellent self, throwing for 159 yards and six TDs on only 12 passes, while also rushing for 42 yards and one touchdown. Those 42 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Tanner Clemenhagen was another key player, gaining 78 total yards.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Kendrick's defense and their six sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Kolt Koepp and Nathan Kimberling, who each picked up three sacks apiece.
Meanwhile, Grace faced Prairie in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Grizzlies were the clear victors by a 40-16 margin over the Pirates. Considering the Grizzlies have won seven matchups by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
The critical scores for Grace came from Carter Mecham, Carter Kimball, Bryant Moss, Kade Kimball, Parker Yost, and Chase Smith.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Grace proved: they limited Prairie to a paltry 1.4 yards per carry. The team can thank Cooper Andersen for the heroic effort on defense: he. Grace's ground attack was stronger, having averaged four.
Grace's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. Kimball was the real danger to the passing game, picking up two interceptions all by himself.
Kendrick's record is now 10-0. As for Grace, their record now sits at 9-1.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Kendrick has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 211.4 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Grace struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 163.7 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Kendrick against Grace when the teams last played back in October of 2023, as the team secured a 52-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
