The Burns Hilanders won the last time they faced the Riverside Pirates, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Burns took down Riverside 45-31. The win made it back-to-back wins for Burns.
Despite the loss, Riverside still got an impressive performance from Crystal Sanchez, who scored 24 points.
Burns has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Riverside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-8.
Burns will be playing at home against Umatilla at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Riverside, Riverside and Nyssa will face off at 4:00 p.m. on January 27th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Nyssa is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
