The Fairview Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 49-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of Garden City. Fairview lost against Garden City in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 57-31 score last time.
Loss or not, Fairview got some senior leadership from Lila Nuttle who scored 15 points along with 7 rebounds and Danae Addison-Taylor who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds. Nuttle is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Garden City, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Fairview and Coronado will face off at 3:00 p.m. on December 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Garden City's road trip will continue as they head out to face Palmer Ridge at 11:00 a.m. on December 2nd.
