The Jefferson Patriots lost against the Hillcrest Panthers back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Jefferson was dealt a 92-28 defeat at the hands of Hillcrest. Jefferson was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-23.
Hillcrest's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Creed Vance, who scored 12 points. Kurt Thomas was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Jefferson bumped their record down to 1-11 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Hillcrest, their victory bumped their record up to 8-11.
Jefferson will head out on the road to face off against Molina at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Molina has now lost 14 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 13. As for Hillcrest, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against South Oak Cliff at 7:30 p.m.
