Tri-City Christian Academy has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. Having just played yesterday, they will get right back to it and host the Berean Academy Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on February 6th. Hopefully Tri-City Christian Academy is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Eagles in Arizona (the Warriors are ranked 29th, while the Eagles are ranked 261st).
On Monday, Tri-City Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over the Eagles, taking the game 55-48.
Tri-City Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Fulvio Dos Santos, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which Dos Santos has scored at least a third of Tri-City Christian Academy's points. Jeremiah Rasdall was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Berean Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 39-22 to James Madison Preparatory School.
Tri-City Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Berean Academy, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-8.
Everything came up roses for Tri-City Christian Academy against the Eagles when the teams last played back in January as the squad secured a 50-16 victory.
