Westchester Country Day fell 62-53 to Calvary Day School on Friday. Westchester Country Day has struggled against Calvary Day School recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Calvary Day School to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dane Cassada, who scored 18 points along with 8 assists. The contest was Cassada's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Calvert, who scored 16 points.
Westchester Country Day has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Calvary Day School, they pushed their record up to 3-5 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Westchester Country Day will challenge Gaston Day at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Gaston Day focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Friday. Calvary Day School's road trip will continue as they head out to face Shining Light Academy at 3:00 p.m. on December 9th. Shining Light Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 412 points over their last five games.
