This season hasn't been kind to the Achievement First Providence Falcons, who are still winless after their 12th match. They had to suffer through a rough 65-35 loss at the hands of Scituate.
Scituate found their leader in underclassman Ryan Larsh, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Larsh has scored all season. Caiden Reikhrud was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds.
Achievement First Providence dropped their record down to 0-12 with that loss, which was their 11th straight on the road. As for Scituate, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Achievement First Providence won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the PRIDE at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Blackstone Valley Prep has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Scituate, they will head out on the road to square off against the Scarlet Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Rhode Island (Exeter-West Greenwich is ranked 47th, while the Spartans are ranked 51st).
